Healing Where You Feel Safe: The Benefits of Telehealth Therapy
Meaningful therapeutic work from a private, comfortable space of your choosing.
The Grounded Summit Therapy · Colorado

Therapy can meet you where you are
Starting therapy can take courage. For some people, being able to connect from a familiar space makes that first step more manageable. Telehealth offers room for meaningful conversations without a commute or a waiting room.
You might choose your couch, a quiet room, or another private, stationary place where you can speak freely. Comfort matters, and so does privacy. Outdoor spaces can feel grounding, but they're not always confidential or reliable for a video session.
Make a little space for yourself
Before a session, check your connection, charge your device, and think about who might hear you. Headphones can help, although they don't stop others from hearing your side of the conversation. Choose a place where interruptions are less likely and avoid joining while driving.
A glass of water, a comfortable seat, and a few minutes afterward can help make the appointment feel like time that belongs to you. Your pet may settle nearby, too. There is no need to make your space picture-perfect.
The relationship still matters most
Telehealth can support reflection, skill-building, and a collaborative therapeutic relationship. It isn't the best fit for every person or situation. We'll talk about your needs, privacy, location, and what to do if the connection drops or urgent support is needed.
My practice offers virtual therapy for clients located in Colorado. Wherever you feel most comfortable within that setting, we can create space to reconnect, understand your patterns, and explore next steps together.
